My ear swollen shut!!!

My stupid ear has swollen shut and these pictures don't really do it justice, but i felt like jonathan needed to see it. The last picture is my normal ear.

This first picture is of my brother the barbarian. I thought jonathan and uncle hogie would like to see what a real barbarian looks like.....so here you go.




In one of these pictures elly m. is acting like her father while watching the t.v. She gets in the "zone".... and doesn't care about anything else. We went to a five year old's birthday party and it was very very hot and humid in the water park, so we had to strip the baby... but she wore her birthday hat.

we miss jonathan, but no so much sweden!

Every post while we are gone is pretty much for the love of the daddy. We both miss jonathan a lot. I have a horrible earache. my ear is so swollen, you can't evensee inside of it.... that makes life kind of miserable. Here are a few photos of my family and elly m.'s little boyfriend, Jackson. They both have very very chubby little thighs and had a great time dancing together at a five year old's birthday party. Well anyhow... we love you jonathan!

For the Daddy!!!

We currently miss jonathan a whole heck of a lot. elly m. and i are in america at my parents house and missing the daddy like crazy. elly m. did a wonderful job flying. she is a true world traveler, it must run in the family.. her cousin olivia is too. but she was so excited that she didn't sleep for a long time. so in the pictures, she looks super duper tired, but now she has been sleeping for almost 12 hours straight. our baby loves her sleep, but here i am up at four in the morning...hmmmm. what is my problem???

The First Snow... and so cold

It snowed a couple of days ago, but today the snow is sticking!!! Jonathan is so excited about the snow, I am trying to be excited. Elly Märta will have her days of excitement in the snow I am sure. We took her out galavanting in it to take some pictures, but don't worry, we didn't stay too long. Just long enough for her to get a red nose.

Here is elly m. at her best. She has started teething and you wouldn't believe that her canine teeth are going to be the first teeth to come in it looks like. silly girl!!! She doesn't know what is supposed to come first. the other pictures were actually taken in the dark, i am not sure why the flash was so good. but they still look so cute... and doesn't elly m. resemble jonathan a little more now??? i think so.

Our newest thing to do!!!

Our little one has learned how to put her tongue between her lips and make a little raspberry sound... we think it is cute. of course we think everything she does is cute.

our little elly m. loves to take baths and i think that she looks so fresh after a bath, and she is also very happy after a bath. she has officially started sleeping every night all night.. of course now that i say that.. she will wake up again, but she has been doing great... and this morning when i went in there to her crib she had flipped over from her stomach to her back and she was so happy i think that she had done that. She is going to dread winter if she doesn't get over the fact that she has to wear a coat and something over her little cold hands. poor thing. winter is hard for everyone. it has been about 50 cold degrees here lately though... so that isn't too bad.
