you would think..

you would think that nothing of excitement is going on at the schmit household the last couple of weeks... but no there have been some exciting milestones made the last couple weeks. i don't know what i have been doing. i started going to the y to run on the elliptical... or whatever you do on that thing. i signed us up so we would have a place to swim with friends this summer... the added bonus, there is free child care while you work out.. lovin' it. i might be able to actually lose some of my extra lovins that i have been wanting to get rid of. i would normally walk my two incredible children around town in the stroller except for one of those darling little angels screams her living head off if i even think about strapping her into something. gotta love a moving soon to be nine month old. but let's talk about elly m. for a little while. we started the potty training process... she wears underwear at home quite often now. i think i got a little too into it, so we are taking a little break from talking about it... but i am going to ease us back into it next week. i think elly m. is a schedule kind of girl, so if i make a little b-room schedule. i think that will pay off better in the end. she has accomplished much in her life recently. she can now count to ten and sing Jesus loves me and Jesus loves the little children... and almost has her ABC song down. she talks as though she really knows what she is thinking now. she can say complete sentences often. it is fun, but sometimes the question "what is ________ doin, mommy?" gets old... we talk about everyone here there and everywhere constantly. i love it though ... she is so precious and her way of talking is so fun to listen to.
