Random shots at home

Here are a few random photos at home. We have been trapped inside quite a bit lately, but have fortunately been able to get out and go to the children's museum with friends quite often. All three girls are growing fast it seems. And now that everyone has tubes in their ears, we are all getting better sleep and much less grumpy. Praise the Lord!

Cute little noomi

Here are some recent pictures of noomi.. from tonight as she sat on the couch in awe of her sisters bathing in her bathtub in the living room. she now has two teeth and can roll allllllllllllllllll over the place. way to go noomster.

jOnathan's hurt foot

Jonathan came home from work today and he had stepped on a nail and it went through his shoe. I told him to get a tetanus shot.. he refused, but he did decide that maybe he should soak it in some antibacterial soapy water... and look who joined him. He was using noomi's little bath tub and the girls just jumped right in. they didn't hesitate to take all of their clothes off and just jump in that little tub. hilarious. jonathan is soaking his foot now in peace after they went to bed... he didn't really have room when they were in there.

princess ruthie

I just couldn't resist these pictures of ruthie. she is sooooo adorable sometimes. and i will say. i thought winter would bring out my children wearing more clothes, but no.. even at 62 in the house.. they still don't really want to wear clothes. the other two pics. are two more from the children's museum.

Children's museum

WE, meaning I, took some of the christmas money from my grandparents and purchased a pass not only to the zoo, but also the Children's museum. It is great that we can go here in the Winter and the really hot days in the summer. I love going other places like this because that means I don't have to clean up after my kids at home. the number one reason winter is hard for me is because we are in the house so much trashing it that I feel like every minute we are here, i need to clean something. in the summer the house rarely gets used, so therefore, it rarely gets that messy.. okay maybe not, but really more time in the house means it is much more dirty. but alas, the girls really really enjoy the children's musuem. and little miss noomi is teething big time in these pictures and sure enough.. she has her two front bottom teeth.. not quite in time for Christmas like she was singing about, but super close.

I didn't get very many Christmas photos... sorry. I guess i was toooooo busy handing out presents. I also realized i haven't gotten very many pictures of elly m. but i feel like it isn't my fault really. she just doesn't enjoy getting her photo taken that much. maybe tomorrow i will get some with her in her new ballet costume. Ruthie tries to change a diaper

This was an absolutely hilarious experience for many reasons.. but mostly because of ruthie's frustration with noomi. She just couldn't believe how much noomi moved as she tried to get the diaper on. at one point noomi ends up with the unused diaper in her mouth. so fun to watch them.

1st slumber party

The girls had their very first slumber party... and it happened to be with their friend Silas. They had so much fun. There is just something so different when you know that your friend will be there all night, so much laughter, so much fun. so much chaos. we loved every minute of it. Silas's parents can go out of town anytime they want, they don't have to wait until their 20 year anniversary!!! They even slept better than normal from 8 p.m. to 7 a.m. wow! Silas cried for a few seconds and then i told him that he could have a popsicle for breakfast and no more crying after that. love it!!!!!

Ruthie adores noomi. She wakes up everyday super duper excited to see her and often asks to hold her. I guess maybe elly m. is "too old" or something. i think she has asked to hold noomi once. so funny how different children are.
