Pickwick!

We went to pickwick a few weeks ago and had a great time with the cousins.. with a few exceptions to that great time... i won't go there though. Elly m. and ruthie love... love love the boat and the water! they are just a blast! and so is jonathan of course!

Elly M. reads herself to sleep everyday for her nap... it is so cute because i often walk in on her sleeping with books over her face. of course she is such a light sleeper that when i went in there to take her picture she woke up immediately and got sort of shocked that i was taking pictures, but so cute of a habit!

I do let her go out in public like this often times, but fortunately she is a girl that doesn't mind getting her hair brushed and combed out. i may be speaking oh too soon about the not minding getting her hair brushed out... but anywho... doesn't ruthie crack you up with some of her faces... she is such a hoot these days!

I will take the award for Jerk of the Month!

Wow.... i look at my blog everyday, every single time i open the computer to do, I don't even know what i waste my time doing... reading other people's blogs that they update everyday... sorry family especially that i haven't posted pictures of my cute kids in a whole month. i go through funks too i guess! Not that you didn't all know that! Here are some pictures of the girls a whole month ago. Elly M. looks dangerous, but isn't really. She is coming in to brush her little ruthie's small amount of hair! Forgive me for the delay, I don't know what my problem is!

childhood

As jonathan was doing this building a fort with the couch cushions, he felt like maybe he would like to go back to childhood to be able to do things like this. i mean he can do them, but he doesn't really fit inside this size fort anymore. well as you can see the girls went crazy in this thing. they laughed with each other so hard! it was so fun to watch. of course it was already 8 o'clock at this time and winding ruthie down only took an hour after they stopped playing, but i mean who needs to bring up the negatives? the girls are interacting more and more now and enjoying each other. of course they have their petty arguments, you know.. ruthie's foot touches elly m. and she has a huge fit about it, but that is bound to happen when you spend every waking moment together.

More of the same thing

I know that these are more of the same thing, but i can't help it. we use the word cutened around our house a lot, and i was just cutened by their expressions. they were so real and so full of joy. it was so fun to watch them play in the couch.
